Role in the project |
LCP will work with Cranfield University on Pilot 3 to investigate the dynamics of the home delivery of groceries both picked directly from retail outlets and from ‘dark stores’ dedicated to home fulfilment. LCP will bring its extensive grocery retail experience and contact base to the project alongside its practical modelling skills of route design and modelling to support the goals of the pilot track. We expect to provide policy interactions with the City Authorities in London (Transport for London), liaison and integration with major retailers, modelling and dissemination support.
